ApFab is the acronymic brand-name for the artistic collaboration between Albert Westerhoff (Groningen, The Netherlands 1979) and Fabian de Boer (Leeuwarden, The Netherlands 1977). Our creative work is centered on the Internet, the tension between CopyRight and CopyLeft and bureaucracy. Using our Zap format we rematerialize the vagaries of the internet by visualizing the internet-inherent discrepancy between word and image. For those in need of categorical order beyond the Zap integration, we provide comforting physicality in the form of page-by-page prints of your favorite webpage(s); the PRINT-THE-NET project lives up to its name!
